Sarah Morrison is a general reporter at The Independent on Sunday newspaper in London. She worked on The Independent for four months writing news before moving over to the sister paper. She has freelanced for national newspapers, websites and magazines in the UK and America, including The Guardian, The Herald and The San Francisco Bay Guardian. She was awarded Best News Writer at the Herald Student Press Awards and Runner-Up Diversity Writer of the Year at The Guardian Student Media Awards 2009 for her contribution to student journalism.
